TURKISH DELIGHT

To celebrate its opening at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Leica Galerie has organised a photography showcase by Magnum photographer Ara Güler. The Armenian-Turkish photojournalist, known for his photographic interviews with personalities the likes of Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Winston Churchill, is nicknamed “the Eye of Istanbul”. So expect nothing less than a captivating experience with “Memories of Istanbul”, a collection of monochrome images of the Turkish city, now on till 31 July. Works by an array of international and local photographers are to follow, showcased along with a selection of historical cameras.
