For fall, Manolo Blahnik decided to trace his steps to Scotland—home of magical landscapes that step straight out of the pages of a fairy tale. Tweed, a signature of the country, is worked into the body of a pair of classic pumps and then given a feminine twist with heavy duty bling. Beyond Scotland, Blahnik also added new styles inspired by revolutionary artists and architects such as Alexander Calder and Josef Hoffmann. Their influences can be seen in the geometric prints, as well as the artistic scalloped and semi-circle edges that give the shoes that refined air.
