FRESH STARTS AND NEW BEGINNINGS
Happy 2016! For many of us, a brand-new calendar represents the chance to look ahead with a positive attitude and the best intentions.
This year also marks a new beginning for me – an eagerly-awaited return to full-time work. I spent the rst decade of my professional life in women’s magazines, and the second as housewife/freelance writer-editor. In late 2015, when I was ready to embrace a full-on career again, there was a vacancy at my favourite magazine. So I jumped right in, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world.
Her World is not just my favourite mag – it’s Singapore’s darling too! We were recently voted Overall Magazine of the Year* and Women’s Magazine of the Year*, while our online portal, Herworldplus.com, received the Women’s Digital Media of the Year* award. Thanks for your support – we’ll continue to make Her World as fun, stylish and relevant as possible for you.
