Loud fash­ion, hushed makeup

Ev­ery­thing on our cover girl reects what’s trend­ing in pop cul­ture now – state­ment ’do to com­ple­ment even more state­ment­mak­ing cloth­ing. So the makeup, es­pe­cially on the Asian woman, has to be min­i­mal.

This cur­rent hairdo was cre­ated by giv­ing the wig a blunt cut, then loos­en­ing the hair with dry sham­poo be­fore set­ting it with a strong-hold hair­spray.

To keep the at­ten­tion on the hair­style and fash­ion-for­ward cloth­ing, the makeup was pared down. Sha sim­ply ap­plied a light layer of foun­da­tion to even out our model Sarang’s skin tone, eye­liner to ac­cen­tu­ate her fea­tures, and a pink stain on her lips.
