Urban Decay’s fiery new Naked palette

-

Renowned for its Naked eyeshadow palettes that boast wearable neutral colours for every occasion, Urban Decay launches its fth palette: Naked Heat ($83), featuring 12 shades of red-based browns, burnt reds and coppers, with some nudes to balance your look. Tips for using this palette: “As a rule, lighter colours should always be used on the inner corners of the eyes, or right above the iris to brighten the area,” says makeup artist Larry Yeo. If your eyes always look puffy or slightly reddish, make sure you line them with a black eyeliner – this will clearly visually separate the reddish eyeshadow shades from your eyes. Do also layer on mascara to make your eyes stand out. And if the skin on your face as well as the eyelids is reddish, you should rst even out your skin tone using colour correctors or concealers before applying the colours from this palette. Another trick is to create a smoky area around the lash line with dark hues before applying the reddish eyeshadows over your lids.
