FOR COMBINATION SKIN

-

Dry-combination and oily-combination are the two types of combination skin. The T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily for both types. But if you have dry-combination skin, your cheeks will be dry and flaky; if you have oily-combination skin, the rest of the face feels fairly balanced.

DRY-COMBINATION SKIN

Go for: Moisturising formulas in the form of tinted moisturiser, and liquid and cream foundations. Skip: Just like for dry skin, you should pass on compact powder foundation. While it looks great on the T-zone, it makes the rest of your face appear cakey. 3. Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion High Coverage, $20 (for case), $55 (for refill). 4. Shiseido Makeup Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation, $74.

OILY-COMBINATION SKIN

Go for: Compact and liquid foundations with lightweight, oil-free and hydrating formulas. You can choose between products that give your complexion a matte or radiant finish. Skip: Foundations that are too rich or creamy – these make your skin look oily. 5. Lancome Mat Miracle 24H Fluid Foundation, $66. 6. Shiseido Makeup Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation, $74.
