1. Tap on the App Store icon. When on the App Store’s main page, scroll all the way down. You should see a button named “Redeem”. Tap on it. 2. You should be prompted to re-enter your iTunes account details (this is a security measure, really). After that, a dialog box should pop up. Tap “Use Camera”. It’s important to note here that if you have an older iTunes gift card that doesn’t have a box around the redemption code, you’ll need to enter the code manually. 3. In this step, all you need to do is hold the gift card up in front of the front camera, with the redemption code facing the lens. Your Apple device should instantly pick up the code, and apply the resulting credit to your iTunes account. 4. You can also tap the camera icon on the top left of the screen to switch to the rear camera.
