The Gold Phantom wireless speaker by Devialet packs power in a small package, delivering 108 dB of sound at a frequency of 14 to 27 kHz. It offers a step up from its predecessor, the Silver Phantom, by providing 50 per cent more power at 4,500 watts. Its peak volume is comparable to that of live rock music, or a jet flying overhead at 1,000 feet.

TAILORED TO A TEE

Hublot partnered with world number one golfer Dustin Johnson to unveil a golfdedicated watch. The Big Bang Unico Golf is based on the new MHUB1580 movement, which is tailored to the sport. It allows golfers to seamlessly calculate their score while on course, and features aperture displays. A pusher at 2 o’clock activates the mechanism for displaying the number of strokes taken and counts the strokes per hole; another at 4 o’clock resets the stroke counter to zero; while a third at 8 o’clock resets the mechanism at the end of the round. The counter at 6 o’clock displays the total number of strokes played.
