Dassault Aviation began work on a new spares facility between Charles de Gaulle and Le Bourget airports. When completed, the 18,000 sq m facility parts delivery to customers in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. It will replace existing facility at Le Bourget and complement a spares complex in New Jersey. The new facility will feature a new spares management system, among other advanced logistics and warehousin­g technologi­es. It is scheduled to enter service towards the end of 2018.

Boeing Business Jets announced that it booked 14 new orders in the past year — one 737, four BBJs, three BBJ MAXs, one BBJ 787-8, two BBJ 777-300ERs, and three BBJ 747-8s. “It has been a really strong year for us at Boeing Business Jets,” said Greg Laxton, head of Boeing Business Jets. CFLY Aviation will be developing and managing a new private terminal and FBO at São Paulo Guarulhos Internatio­nal Airport (GRU/SBGR) in Brazil over the next 15 years. The joint venture will improve access and convenienc­e for corporate,

Honda Aircraft Company is expanding sales of the HondaJet in Greater China through Honsan General Aviation, a Guangzhou-based company. It will serve as the HondaJet dealer in China, and will provide sales, service and support throughout China, Hong Kong and Macau. This comes in response to “tremendous interest” in China, said Honda Aircraft president and CEO Michimasa Fujino. Honsan General Aviation will be based at the new business jet terminal being built at Guangzhou Baiyun Internatio­nal Airport, of 2017.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced new performanc­e standards for its long-range Gulfstream G500 and G600 business jets after The G600 will deliver a range of 6,500 nm (12,038 km) at Mach 0.85 — 300 nm (556 km) farther than the initially projected range. At Mach 0.90, the range will be 5,100 nm (9,445 km). The G500 saw an increase in range by 600 nm (1,111 km). It can (8,149 km) at Mach 0.90. “As we methodical­ly moved are going exceptiona­lly well, we recognized we had both the time and ability to enhance G500 and G600 performanc­e and give our customers a business-jet family that’s better than the one we had promised them,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream.
