John from Beyond Times Square curated a wonderful morning, taking in what we wanted to see, as well as fascinating, off-the-beaten path sights. A native of Brooklyn, John has an incredible knowledge and passion for New York City, and we enjoyed a memorable lunch with him at the legendary Katz’s Delicatessen on the Lower East Side. www.btsq.com Zuma: Sensational contemporary Japanese cuisine in an industrial-chic space. We are regulars at Zuma in Bangkok, which incidentally is in The St. Regis Bangkok. The NYC Z um a on Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan opened in 2015 and is fabulous. www.zumarestaurant.com Daniel: A pillar of NYC fine dining, created by revered French chef Daniel Boulud, His namesake restaurant is set in the former Mayfair Hotel on Park Avenue, and the seasonal French cuisine amid the neoclassical architecture is remarkable, while the service is professional, yet personable and relaxed. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had.
