Ravishingly Blue
It was an evening of magnificent proportions when Tiffany & Co. unveiled its 2016 Blue Book Collection at the neo-renaissance Cunard Building in lower Manhattan. Among the 300 VIP guests who flew in from around the world were Asian high society and celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Diane Kruger, Jessica Biel and Naomi Watts, who partook in an evening filled with music and dance. There was also no mistaking “The Art of Transformation” — design director Francesca Amfitheatrof’s theme for her second Blue Book Collection — as the venue was decorated with silver spheres inspired by a bib necklace (composed of more than 3,000 diamonds) from the collection. On the immersive experience, CEO Frederic Cumenal said: “We’ve lit up the night with our beautiful diamonds and our breathtaking Blue Book jewels. They embody the Tiffany heritage of honouring nature’s most precious wonders through innovative design.”
