Two years after the de­but of Innamorati the Mu­si­cal, Toy Fac­tory Pro­duc­tions presents the spir­ited Man­darin fol­low-up, helmed again by direc­tor Goh Boon Teck and fea­tur­ing orig­i­nal songs writ­ten and com­posed by the cast. Alice in Won­der­land.

CHORE­OG­RA­PHERS’ SHOW­CASE ‘’“” Hong Kong Bal­let’s an­nual show­case brings to­gether chore­og­ra­phers Jun Chen, Chao-ya He and Justyne Li, along with other rising dance tal­ents, to present new and cre­ative per­for­mances that push the bound­aries of bal­let.

CANNES YACHT­ING FES­TI­VAL

The 39th edi­tion of the fes­ti­val ex­pects to wel­come 600 boats to be dis­played in and out of the wa­ter in Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto. For the sec­ond time, the Con­cours d’elé­gance com­pe­ti­tion will pro­vide a unique spec­ta­cle of rare vin­tage and mod­ern-day boats.

LA BIENNALE DES ANTIQUAIRES

Other than dis­play­ing works from over 110 gal­leries across 14 coun­tries, the event will host three spe­cial ex­hi­bi­tions by The State Her­mitage Mu­seum from St Peters­burg, Le Mo­bilier Na­tional of Paris and Geneva’s La Fon­da­tion de la Haute Hor­logerie.

Septem­ber 16–18

MON­TEREY JAZZ FES­TI­VAL

Jazz leg­ends in­clud­ing Quincy Jones, Wayne Shorter Quar­tet and Bran­ford Marsalis Quar­tet with Kurt Elling play at some of the 100 per­for­mances at the fes­ti­val, which will in­clude ed­u­ca­tional events, talks and ex­hibits.
