As part of Harrods’ “Made With Love and Precision” in-store campaign, organised a takeover of the retail giant’s windows along Brompton Road in London for the month of July. The watchmaker also presented a pop-up store within Harrods — featuring an aesthetic inspired by its astral skeleton movement — where two watches were launched exclusively: The Black Velvet with Diamonds and Excalibur Spider Skeleton Flying Tourbillon with Black Spinnels. IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN and the Antoine de Saint-exupéry Youth Foundation recently inaugurated the new facilities of the Hospitality & Catering Training centre (HCTC) in Mae Sot, Thailand, funded by the proceeds of a Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” sold on auction last November. Set up in 2009, HCTC provides underprivileged Thai youths from the minority Karen population with the training they need to earn a living.
