COLOUR SPLASH

Born out of a collaboration with renowned Paris-based street gra ti artist Cyril Kongo, the RM 68-01 from Richard Mille brings together contemporary art and haute horlogerie in a nifty package. The result of over a year of experimentation, the NTPT carbon timepiece’s baseplate and bridges serve as a canvas upon which colourful paints are delicately sprayed on one droplet at a time by Kongo, using a specially developed airbrush. Additionally, the weight of the paint is strictly determined beforehand, so as to avoid jeopardising the equilibrium of the calibre. The watch will be available in only 30 pieces worldwide.
