Inspired by the image of a tailor bent over his table with his fabric laid out in front of him, Portuguese designer Rui Alves has created the Tailor Sofa for Scandinavian design brand menu. Like the tailor, Alves was keen to have his materials on display, thus creating a sofa with a purposely visible oak wood frame. “I wanted to show all of it — the structure, the beautiful oak wood.
