borrowed his first camera from a friend at age 15, but it was only four years later — having saved up to buy his own SLR camera — that his love for photography grew. Learning the ropes by assisting renowned fashion photographers and at commercial studios both here and in Malaysia, Wong has built a portfolio of works shot far beyond the region. He is driven by the dialogue between his subject matter, the medium and himself (as interpreter), which is well-translated through his images.
