Developed by a Singapore biomedical company, Cellresearch Corp, Calecim is a range of professional skincare products boasting powerful rejuvenating proteins cultured from red deer umbilical cord lining, which is a patented source of stem cells.

Featuring a potent complex of youthactivating proteins, growth factors and cytokines (termed as Rejuvenating Conditioned Media), the products stimulate skin’s stem cells to increase the production of glycoproteins, such as hyaluronic acid, to increase skin fullness, encourage faster recovery from the environment’s daily ravages and activate epidermal cell turnover. In Singapore, animal-derived stem cell mediums are allowed for use in cosmetics, but the brand claims that no animals or humans are hurt in the extraction of the stem cells, and the products are not tested on animals.

During the procedures, the skin surface is breached, which allows for better absorption of the products.”
