Welcome to Casa Loewe.
After British designer Jonathan Anderson took over the reigns as creative director at Spanish luxury label Loewe, he started ushering in an era of revitalisation to the 170-year-old fashion house. His new concept for boutiques, Casa Loewe, debuted in Singapore in January – only the third city after Tokyo and Milan to unveil the Anderson-designed store.
Elegant Nero Marquina marble from Spain covers the facade, contrasting with the silver travertine tiles. A standout feature is the emerald agate stone ceiling at the entrance, a homage to the canopy in the Madrid flagship boutique, designed by renowned architect Javier Carvajal in 1959.
The dark walnut-toned display tables and taupe wool carpets form the ideal backdrop for Loewe’s spring/ summer 2016 collections for men and women, as well as a limited-edition white collection to commemorate the new Casa. The collection, which includes the Puzzle Bag and Elephant Coin Purse, is only available in the Singapore boutique. www.loewe.com ≠
