Only a few hun­dred time­pieces are made in its premises each year, all us­ing age-old tech­niques and done fully by hand. Mas­ter­pieces in­clude the Mont­blanc Col­lec­tion Villeret Cylin­drique Pocket Watch 110 Years Edi­tion, which has two discs dis­play­ing 24 time zones re­volv­ing around two minia­ture globes, and the Timewriter 1: Me­ta­mor­pho­sis,

with the time and date dis­plays on two sub­di­als that split down the mid­dle to re­veal chrono­graph func­tions be­neath. Mont­blanc is invit­ing one reader to tour the work­shop with a loved one.
