Video services are much more accessible today with the requisite technology readily available to all, including even a mobile phone, in some applications.

But good videography is still a matter of skill, especially video editing that makes all the difference between a clip that tells a story, and one that just drags along. And beyond this, the same factors apply for when picking a photographer, or indeed any kind of collaborator: punctuality, a sense of responsibility, and someone who is pleasant to interact with.
