This East Coast abode of Wendy Smith, a senior designer with Design Intervention, showcases her penchant for pattern while paying homage to the area’s heritage with Peranakan-inspired architecture. Smith worked with her Design Intervention colleagues, including founder and principal Nikki Hunt, to craft this distinctively modern residence as a reflection of her unique style and fresh take on design. Bespoke visual drama abound, from double-height ceilings to wrought iron bannisters and chandeliers, vibrant botanical wallpapers and monochrome marble flooring. Meanwhile, the clean lines of the custommade furniture and spacious entertaining areas create an inviting ambience.
