This Goldhill Avenue residence of Belinda and Andre Huber stands out with its sophisticated approach to familycentric living. To create an ideal home to raise their young children in, the couple turned to Bu Shukun, design director of Architology Interiors, whose open-plan concept strategically utilised design elements to create distinct zones. On the main floor, glass bifolding doors visually connect the indoors and outdoors, resulting in a bright and airy communal space where, instead of walls, different floorings provide a seamless transition between the living and dining areas. The sleek open-concept kitchen adds to the chic, laidback vibe, while the snug basement floor, dominated by a brown leather sofa and equipped with a home theatre system and bar, is a cosy retreat for the family to unwind.
