Singapore Tatler Best of Singapore

A UNIQUE APPROACH

-

Illumia Therapeutics may have just opened its doors in January 2020, but it’s ready to shake up Singapore’s aesthetics scene.

“We don’t compromise on our clients. Whether it’s the technology, ingredients or products we import, we always strive to provide the best in the market.”

– Elizabeth Leong, CEO, Illumia Therapeutics

Located in a 4,000-square-foot space along Orchard Road, Illumia Therapeutics is set to become Singapore’s next beauty powerhouse. The clinic comprises a team of aesthetic doctors, plastic surgeons and industry gurus, and the name was chosen to “signify that we place the client at the centre of every treatment outcome,” explains CEO Elizabeth Leong.

The centre advocates naturallooking beauty and regards good skin, facial symmetry, a beautiful figure and optimal feminine health as its pillars. Backed by an extensive body of science, the treatments are based on proven clinical results, says Leong. Illumia Therapeutic’s treatments also utilise lab-certified ingredients, ensuring that it’s safe for long-term use.

“We believe in subtle tweaking, so our clients look fresher and more youthful in phases rather than doing too much at one go. Our treatments are non-invasive, non-surgical and pain-free,” she claims.

Not only does this medispa invest in the latest technologies, treatments are administered using the novel Hybrid2 Protocol, which uses two or more technologies to target different skin layers in a single session.

“We’ve found that this saves time and also doubles up your results.

We also make it a point to choose technologies that have minimal downtime, so you can go right back to your routine after a session,” she explains. Stem cell technology is also integrated into treatments to boost recovery times and the overall result.

Illumia Therapeutics also has a

Face Design technique that’s crafted to suit each client’s unique features. The technique, which follows Korean beauty principles, is designed to minimise wrinkles, eyebags and the loss of volume in the cheeks, especially when fillers or injectables don’t quite do the trick.

Additionally, Illumia Therapeutics will also focus on fat reduction and skin tightening procedures, and will offer one-of-a-kind technologies that help stimulate muscle growth and tone the body. “We will also be the first medispa in Singapore to launch a new feminine health restoration series,” says Leong.
