New York seems to be a breeding ground for the most inspiring lighting designs as proven by the meteoric rise of Lindsey Adelman. A new name to note is Gabriel Scott, the enterprise of brothersin-law, design partners and good friends Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler. This is the first time the Canadian designers presented their collection in Milan, and they’ve quickly made their mark with their modern yet luxe creations. Inspired by nature’s bioluminescent organisms, Myriad is a modular series in blown glass and satin metallic hardware. Meanwhile, their Briolette collection presents sharper angles with facets that delight. Every piece is handmade at their Montreal Studio and sold in their flagship showroom in Broome Street in Manhattan.
