After toiling in the New York fashion industry, Kim worked as a journalist in Singapore for 10 years. She continues to write about luxury, food, and travel from Paris, where she now lives. For this issue’s creative project with local laminate brand Arova (page 80), she examines the artworks created by three studios, and what they reveal about each firm’s design philosophy.
