The Legacy collection by Harry Winston spotlights an array of flawless diamonds that honour its founder’s love for precious stones

By naming its latest high jewellery collection Legacy, Harry Winston

made its inspiration abundantly clear: That it would be paying homage to the brand’s eponymous founder and, in particular, his passion for diamonds. Also in 2013, in the hands of the Swatch Group, Harry Winston once again made history with the purchase of the Legacy diamond, a pear-shaped, D colour, flawless diamond weighing 101.73-carats. So, it’s only natural for the jeweller to name this 22-piece lineup Legacy. The diamonds are internally flawless and of D-colour; 60 per cent of the stones are also of Type IIA quality, meaning that they are free of any nitrogen impurities. Showcasing Harry Winston’s mastery of design and craftsmanship is this pair of Cluster diamond earrings, which call to attention two pear-shaped diamonds, weighing 6.53 and 6.51 carats respectively. They sparkle with such iridescence that one wonders how they are even linked, as the metal can barely be seen—such is the magic of creation of Harry Winston!
