IWC 2016 PILOT’S WATCHES LAUNCH
It was like stepping back in time to the golden age of flying as guests entered the Red Dot Design Museum, which had been decorated with vintage 1930s vibes, complete with aviation-themed props like retro suitcases and a plane replica for photo ops. IWC’S rich aviation heritage was on show as the watchmaker unveiled its 2016 Pilot’s Watch collection to over 250 guests. Following IWC Southeast Asia managing director Matthieu Dupont’s welcome speech, a video about the inspiration and craftsmanship of the new collection was screened, before guests proceeded to the Aviator’s Lounge to view the watches. Popular pieces included the Big Pilot’s Heritage Watch 55, the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII and the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36.
