One of the best ways to experience a country’s culture is through its cuisine, and guests at the World Gourmet Summit’s (WGS) opening gala dinner found that to be true as they were given the opportunit­y to taste Ukraine. Working with the Ukrainian ambassador to Singapore, Dmytro Senik, WGS founder Peter Knipp flew guest chef Iurii Kovryzhenk­o to Singapore and treated guests to a gastronomi­cal evening of modern Ukrainian inspiratio­ns including crawfish mousse and roasted duck with apples.
