“WHEN I GO INTO A ROOM, THE FIRST THING I LOOK AT IS THE LIGHTING. IF IT’S WELL DONE AND CREATIVE, IT’S A GOOD SIGN THAT THIS ROOM HAS BEEN WELL THOUGHT OUT”
MIAMI

PARROT CAY, TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS
I usually stay at a villa on this private island when on holiday. I love to stay here because it’s so sophisticated and stylish, and the service is warm and friendly.
PICASSO
I have some Picasso drawings, which I love. There are other artists I admire but I love Picasso the most—the ideas he expressed, the colours, the complexity.
HERZOG & DE MEURON, AND JOHN PAWSON
My current favourite architects. The common denominator is that their work is simple and pure and without artifice, as well as being very smart. They stand the test of time.
