What beauty products do you swear by?

My go-to products from Clé de Peau Beauté are La Crème, Firming Serum Supreme and Lipstick.

What is your favourite beauty trick?

Using black eyeliner to define the eyes. To me, having a lined eye is the epitome of cool.

How did it feel to be nominated for a Best Actress Oscar in 2015 for The Theory of Everything?

Awesome. It really was a tremendous experience.

What is your fitness regimen like?

My exercise routine changes depending on the character I’m playing, but generally I love running, swimming, yoga, pilates and dancing.

Tell us about your beauty routine

It’s fairly simple at the moment. I cleanse and moisturise every day.

If you weren’t an actress, what would you be doing?

When I was younger, I fantasised about being a journalist or writing novels.
