Luck was on the side of Singapore Tatler’s jewelleryl­oving friends who were invited to discover Van Cleef & Arpels’ newly renovated boutique at Ngee Ann City, and in particular its Alhambra collection. The cloverinsp­ired jewel was created 50 years ago and is still beloved by collectors for its associatio­n with luck as well as its versatilit­y. Our guests were enamoured as well, as they shopped for their favourite pieces and colours, from onyx to malachite, but not before seeking the opinion of their friends. The Friday Caption_white evening mood was made even more buoyant by the free-flowing champagne and canapes, as well as the interactiv­e GIF creator.
