Trina Liang-lin is a woman who firmly believes in creating her own luck. Whether she’s overseeing Lin Foundation Asia, the private foundation she set up with her husband Edmund Lin to give back to society, or fighting for gender equality as the past president and executive board member of Singapore Committee for UN Women, Trina credits her good fortune to sheer hard work. “The harder you work, the luckier you get,” she tells us. “I’ve never felt particularly lucky, and never won a lucky draw in my life, but I’ve always felt loved and supported by the people around me.”
