The reliable Italian menu is concise but features a selection of familiar classics, such as the restaurant’s signature Grand Platter, with its choice of cold cuts and cheese, and the ravioli of osso buco veal shank, sealed in al dente pasta and lightly coated with a bone marrow cream. Also notable is the salad selection. Contemporary items like kale salad and the outstanding “superfood” options are favourites of the urbane crowd. What you won’t find here is another tired tiramisu; in its place is a selection of innovative desserts such as Cigar (a tea-infused chocolate cigar) and a modern take on panna cotta.
