Ki-sho offers a memorable, refined dining experience in an elegant black-andwhite house. The ingredient­s are top-notch, and each dish is impeccably plated and articulate­ly explained. The seasonal appetiser is exceptiona­l, with the freshest Hokkaido scallops served in a half-shell, topped with leek and salmon roe, and the tiniest dollop of wasabi. While many of the dishes impress in both flavour and plating, the assortment of sashimi wows with its superb texture and quality. Rolled up and eaten, the charcoal aburi Wagyu beef is an exquisite slice that’s seared perfectly on the underside, and is topped with generous slices of black and white truffle. Bringing comfort food to gourmet heights, the uni and ikura rice is an unctuous bowl of deliciousn­ess that will long be remembered by any diner.

TATLER TIP

The restaurant has an extensive sake and shochu list, but a Western wine list is also available, shared with the Italian restaurant within the same establishm­ent.
