Mezza9
Mezza9 is also a fantastic late-night option for diners who want it all. The sprawling restaurant’s decor hasn’t changed much the last few years, but it still looks modern. There are several show kitchens and you can choose to sit near any one, for a more experiential dining experience. The menu is extensive and covers numerous cuisines, including Thai (the nuea yang, grilled Angus beef with Thai parsley, is highly satisfying), Japanese sushi and sashimi, traditional Chinese dishes, and Western grill and rotisserie. There’s also a pâtisserie that opens late, which is good to note if you’re booking a birthday celebration. A lot of thought has gone into the menu, and both vegetarian and plant-based foods are clearly marked; the menu also highlights the different sustainable fisheries the restaurant works with.
TATLER TIP
Mezza9 opens until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays—great for late dinners, who can choose to head to the martini bar for drinks afterwards.
