This tapas joint continues to be a popular spot, thanks to its well-executed dishes. The menu offers plenty to tantalise the taste buds and is extensive enough to encourage repeat visits. The á feira-style Atlantic octopus makes for a memorable start to the meal, served in firm bite-sized pieces that are packed with flavour. The grilled lamb chops is another top pick; they’re tender and the meat slides easily off the bone, while the accompanying lamb sweetbread with goat cheese and figs gives the dish a more indulgent twist. The beverage list is also worth noting, as it includes a carefullycurated selection of Spanish wines, sangrias, sherries and cocktails. There are three certified sommeliers on hand to give recommendations on which wines to pair with your dishes. Service is a brisk affair (the restaurant appeared to be short-staffed during our visit) and perhaps it is more suited to no-fuss dining and drinks with friends, particularly by the casual counter seating area, where diners get to watch the chefs work.
