2016 AWARD FOR STYLE With her fabulous sense of fashion and sunshine smile, alluring charm puts you instantly under her spell

My fondest fashion memory...

has to be the gold sequined Oscar de la Renta gown that I wore to the Ball last year when I received the Award for Style. I wanted something befitting of the theme, The Lady and Her Professor, and at the same time fits my own style. Most of the gowns I have were either too modern or too edgy to fit the theme, until I found one just days before the ball!

Thankfully, I can’t remember a fashion faux pas...

except for the time when I wore a pair of designer heels, which felt great in the boutique but was totally excruciating after standing in them for a mere 10min at a party. I could hardly walk in them and had to leave really early.

Style is...

the distinctive way in which we express ourselves through the clothes that we wear, as well as the way we live, talk, move, carry and groom ourselves. It’s an amalgamation of one’s taste, attributes, personality, character and values.

Wear what flatters you...

and never because it looks good on someone else.

One style rule that all women should break...

should match!

is that everything
