GERTI IWATAKE

Gerti Iwatake is the managing director of Getan, a trading import and export company. She is also a keen fundraiser, who devotes her time to chairing the organising committees of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme Gala and the SPCA Tux For Tails Gala Benefit. For 2019, she is planning the fundraisin­g gala of the Diplomatic Council of Singapore.

SUSANNA KANG

Susanna Kang is the director of Singapore Food Delight and a former vice president of Sincere Watch. She regularly supports local charities and has raised funds as a member of the pioneering committees for the Yellow Ribbon and World Wildlife Fund balls. In recent years, the Patron of the Arts Award recipient is gaining recognitio­n for her fundraisin­g efforts for homegrown theatre company, Wild Rice.

MARILYN LUM

Marilyn Lum is the director of Lum Wen Kay Holdings and co-founder of social enterprise, Crib. She is also the vice president of the Singapore Island Country Club, which raised nearly $1m for 22 charitable beneficiar­ies at the SICC May Day Charity 2018. The daughter of Lum Chang Holdings’ David Lum is working to get her doctorate in education in 2019.

LINDA SOO-TAN

Fundraisin­g veteran Linda Soo-tan is a board member of charitable organisati­on, Food from the Heart, a committee member of the Ikebana Internatio­nal Singapore Chapter 135, and an ad hoc committee member of the SPCA Tux For Tails Gala Benefit. Passionate about photograph­y, gardening and dollmaking, she is married to Tan Bock Seng and they have one daughter.

GENEVIEVE PEGGY JEFFS

The effervesce­nt Genevieve Peggy Jeffs’ passion for improving the lives of the less fortunate has led her to chair numerous fundraisin­g gala committees. These include the Singapore Red Cross, Breast Cancer Foundation and in 2018, the Muscular Dystrophy Associatio­n. In 2019, she will chair the Singapore Red Cross 70th Anniversar­y Benefit Gala.

CHERYL LEE

Cheryl Lee is the co-founder and CEO of Spectrum, a pioneering integrated business club focused on technology and innovation that she is working towards expanding globally. She also co-founded the 1-Rochester Group and is a director of her family’s business, Yinnru Investment­s. Lee chairs the gala committee of charitable organisati­on Kidz Horizon Appeal.

JUNE RIN

June Rin is a senior consultant and director of neuro-anaesthesi­a and neuro-critical care at the Singapore General Hospital. She also teaches at the DUKE-NUS Medical School as an adjunct assistant professor and the NUS Yong Loo Lin Medical School as a clinical lecturer. Passionate about charity work, she is also the president of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisati­ons.

TAN MIN-LI

Tan Min-li is a partner at law firm Colin Ng & Partners and a director of Whitelight Ventures, a company she co-founded with celebrity photograph­er Timothy White to preserve fine art photograph­y in 2018. Tan is also an executive producer of Hotel Mumbai, a film starring Hollywood actors Armie Hammer and Dev Patel that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival 2018.

MANIZA JUMABHOY

Owner of theatre company, Limelight Arts, Maniza Jumabhoy is also a board member of The Arts House and the Asian Civilisati­ons Museum. The executive committee member of the Chinese Women’s Associatio­n, who is married to Iqbal Jumabhoy, is an avid collector of art-deco antiques. STEPHANIE LEE

Stephanie Lee is the executive director of T S Lee & Sons, which was recognised at the Urban Redevelopm­ent Authority Architectu­ral Heritage Awards 2016 for its restorativ­e work of the Goh Loo Club. She was the organising committee chair for fundraisin­g for the Yellow Brick Road Programme and is the social director of the Ferrari Owner’s Club Singapore.

RASINA RUBIN

Rasina Rubin is the co-founder and director of Galerie Belvedere. Establishe­d in 1996, the gallery specialise­s in contempora­ry paintings and sculptures, and has decked the walls of major hotels, hospitals, shopping malls and residentia­l properties in Singapore, Brunei and China. She is the daughter of former Supreme Court judge, MPH Rubin, and ambassador Jaya Mohideen.

GRACE YEH

Grace Yeh is a director of her family businesses, Yeh Brothers Wood Works and Yeh Brothers Electronic Works. She is also a committee member of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra Ladies League with much experience in organising fundraisin­g galas, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra Benefit Dinner 2019 and Yellow Ribbon Fund Charity Gala 2019.
