BALANCING ACT

We have seen tie-dye interpreted in many ways, but Hermes’ take on the clothing-colouring technique certainly ranks right up there in the luxe stakes. For its Spring/Summer 2017 collection, the luxury house created tie-dye patterns on pieces such as suede jackets and silk knits. Similarly fusing summery lightness with subtle sumptuousness, pieces such as grey calfskin separates with finely perforated micropatterns and yellow leather hoodie jackets rounded off the “miscellany of lightness” (to quote the brand’s show notes).
