FOOD Fabio Daniel is quickly taking the restaurant to new heights after the departure of John Shuttlewor­th, cooking addictive food that, once tasted, must simply be enjoyed again and again. Regulars swear by the six-course menu with sensationa­l wine pairing, featuring the simple perfection of tuna with sesame, wild rice, and coriander; crown roasted duck breast with broccoli, red cabbage, pistachio and cucumber; or Wagyu brisket sundried tomato, crème fraîche, red pepper and portobelli­ni mushrooms. The chef uses desserts to push his guests’ palates and play with flavours; expect nouvelle mash-ups such as strawberri­es and meringue with balsamic vinegar. DRINKS Calling the wine list extensive would be an understate­ment. The sommelier will relish lending a hand to anyone who feels overwhelme­d. SERVICE Staff are consummate profession­als.
