R3 000 bail granted

A 29-year-old man arrested in the connection with the rape of an eightyear-old girl in Matsulu nine years ago, appeared in the KaBokweni Magistrate’s Court on June 25.

He was released on R3 000 bail on condition that he reports to Matsulu Police Station on Mondays and Fridays and does not threaten or communicate with the victim.

The matter was postponed for further investigation to August 27.
