Academy’s dancers exhibit their skills
Surané’s Dance Academy (SDA) in Mbombela recently competed in the final round of the International Fine Arts Association South African championship, a prestige dancing competition.
SA and Namibian dancers took part in this event in Pretoria held over three consecutive days with over 500 entries.
According to Surané Stapelberg, owner and director of SDA, the competition was of a high standard and the judging strict, which made her even more proud of her students’ successes and their passion for dancing.
Among her competitive dancers, 26 solo dances and one duet were performed covering various dance styles, including ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, acrobat dance and hip-hop.
