Core values and pristine views are what this experience is all about

There are less than two week left to enter the 17th Annual Sabie Xperience that will take place from November 4 to 6.

“Our riders are what drive our success,” said co-founder Denzil Lawrie, the chairperson of the Sabie Xperience planning committee. “Fostering a culture based on our core values is one of my top priorities and I am proud that our team has lived up to these values with each and every event - creating a prestige stage race for the past 17 years.”

Dennis Lawrie, a passionate, adventurous mountain bike enthusiast, established the Sabie Xperience in 2004. This race has evolved to be familyfriendly, fun and affordable. And now, 17 years later, this clover route cycling event caters to everyone.

The race starts at the Floreat Riverside Lodge in Sabie, twisting through the pine forests and ending right back at the Floreat.

It is a three-day stage race with some of the most beautiful single tracks in South Africa. Each track is carefully crafted to perfection, regularly maintained and set in the finest part of South Africa, the Sabie escarpment.

With the Drakensberg Mountain range surrounding Sabie, all its pristine waterfalls and vast open landscapes, this stage race ensures you get just the right number of up- and downhills. All the trails and tracks are developed with all ages in mind, making them suitable to all.

If ever you have a bucket list, riding this challenging race on a mountain bike and enjoying the stunning scenery is a must. At the same time, experience the quaint town of Sabie in an exceptional way.

“We believe that great things happen when man and mountain meet. Feel alive. Discover breathtaking terrain and be adventurous. Join us for this one-ofkind, three-day Sabie Xperience! Be the passionate rider we know you are. We promise the view will be great!” The Sabie Xperience committee wishes to thank the Lowveld SPAR group for joining it again after several years as its title sponsor.
