Du Toit-Smuts and Lowvelder invite you onto the greens

MBOMBELA - Spring is in the air and golf fever has caught on in the Lowveld.

The annual Du Toit-Smuts & Partners Attorneys and Lowvelder’s Annual Charity Golf Day fundraiser is set to take place in three weeks.

“We would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your business to participate in this fun-filled day, to be held at the Mbombela Golf Club from 10:00 on October 13,” Schalk Rheeder, the executive partner of Du Toit-Smuts & Partners, said.

This annual charity golf day is much more than just a fundraiser - it provides an opportunity to network, share ideas and enjoy one another’s company.

“This fundraiser is very close to our hearts. It is our way to give back to the community where there is need. The fourball alliance American scramble drive format tournament will be filled with plenty of fun and excitement, and we are grateful to have Absa as our evening function sponsor. A local musician, Arno Fourie, will be providing the entertainment.”

The charities that will benefit this year include but are not limited to:

• The Dasha Foundation - a school for children with mental disabilities

• Huis Betlehem - a place of safety for children who had to be removed from their family home because of challenging home circumstances

• Laeveldrus - an old-age home looking after elderly citizens.

“We invite you to join us as a sponsor for this event. Unfortunately, all the fourballs are sold out, but there is still room for ex gratia donations and sponsorships for prizes.”

In addition to the fact that you will contribute towards the fundraising efforts, you will also enjoy special mention in Lowvelder, which will provide extensive media coverage of the day.

Your business will also be promoted and receive a special mention during the prizegiving for your contribution as sponsor to the success of the event.
