Komati Flight Academy opened its doors in 2005, operating from the Komatipoort airfield in Mpumalanga offering scenic flights along the border of the Kruger National park as well as Light Sport Aircraft License training. Komati Flight Academy moved to the Petit Airport near Benoni in 2013 and underwent a name change during 2018 to Bushflying Africa (Pty) Ltd.
At Bushflying Africa we pride ourselves in providing quality training with the emphasis on safety. Although we offer a wide variety of flying services like license renewals, conversions and initial Light Sport Aircraft licenses. We pride ourselves on teaching advanced bush flying techniques and specialising in tailwheel conversions as well as bush flying adventures.
