While its high- end cousins are moulded from carbon, the Elite DSW’s frame is constructe­d from Specialize­d’s E5 premium aluminium. A Fact carbon fork with a Zertz insert and a thru-axle keep the front wheel tracking true, while a 10- speed Shimano Tiagra drivetrain transfers your power.

Given the Diverge’s versatilit­y, tyres will play a huge role in its success. A set of hardy 30mm Espoir Sport tyres, sporting Specialize­d’s double BlackBelt protection, are fitted standard on the Elite DSW. With clearance of up to 35mm, we suggest you upsize your tyres if you’re thinking of hitting the gravel regularly.
