He didn’t get to race it at this year’s Epic; but man, does Nino Schurter’s bike look the part. The custom paint scheme features the colours of the South African flag on the top tube, as well as some stats from his crazily successful career.

He runs the same fork, shock and drivetrain you’ll find on the production bike (albeit with a fancier cassette), but his wheels are by DT Swiss, and he’s swapped the standard seat post for a Rockshox Reverb AXS dropper, activated by an etap blip in a slot cut into the left-hand grip.

And that 36-tooth chainring? Power!
