The Wow Rides was such a great opportunity for me to explore some of the best trails in South Africa, from the wet, denselycovered routes in KZN to the dry conditions up in Gauteng.

I was also very proud to show South Africa the beautiful, technical trails of the Western Cape – it’s so close to my heart.

The highlight for me was riding up Sani Pass. I have done this climb many times in a car; but doing it on a bike was just awesome.

I’d like to thank Bicycling and Aaron Borrill for these amazing trips and the unforgettable memories. It was a pleasure shooting and working with Nils, Lance, Ryan, Oli, Neill, Andrew and Reuben.

I think the next edition will be even better and bigger, and I can’t wait!
