MPs criticise delay with Kgetleng water

The Department of Water and Sanitation’s lack of progress in resolving water provision problems of the Kgetleng River municipality in North West is “unacceptable”, says Parliament’s water and sanitation portfolio committee. The department has ignored a recommendation to instruct the Magalies Water Board to complete water infrastructure. The committee wants an undertaking from Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane to implement the recommendation.
