Unionists to speak on Prasa allegations
The National Transport Movement and the South African Federation of Trade Unions will brief the media in Johannesburg on Monday about corruption allegations at the Passenger Rail Agency of SA (Prasa). This comes after former minister of transport Dipuo Peters’s appointment of an interim board was declared invalid by the High Court in Pretoria and after it emerged that investigations into financial mismanagement at Prasa have already cost the agency more than R148m.
